We are looking for volunteers to fulfill key roles in the continued development of CRIB’s programs pillars (CRIB Society, CRIB Match, CRIB Equip and CRIB Gives Back) such as event planning and implementation. The volunteer will gain valuable, hands on experience on varying non-profit activities such as fundraising, measuring operations efficiency, budget monitoring, purposeful cultivation of partners and membership management.
Working as part of either the CRIB Society, CRIB Match or CRIB Equip team and supporting each program manager in preparation of this year’s program
Assist program manager with adhering to the goals and timetables to execute event logistics efficiently
Contributing to planning sessions on the agenda, format and content for events
Assist with venue booking, marketing, registration and speaker arrangements as needed
Assist with the development and execution of event communications, deliverables, social media and promotions
Hands-on event management support at events
Responding to calls, messages and emails regarding CRIB programs
Other office, reception and/or administrative duties as required
Time Period and Commitment:
We are looking for a long-term volunteering commitment. A minimum of 3 days of work per week for 6 months is required and volunteers must try their best to attend all CRIB team meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of and experience with social media
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team
Commitment to the ethos of volunteering and the programmes and activities of CRIB
